FedEx / TNT Air network related updates

Due to the COVID-19 lockdown in China and the currently limited operations at Shanghai (PVG) Airport, as of today, April 5, and until further notice, FedEx International Economy Freight, FedEx International Express Freight and TNT Express Freight shipments (heavy-weight >68kgs) are temporarily suspended from Europe to Shanghai region.

Customers can continue to ship time-critical parcel shipments using the FedEx International Priority and TNT Express product options.

We continue working to move shipments to their final destination and reduce the temporary service delays across our network which were caused by more circumstances within Europe. The following contigency actions are in place now:

TNT intra-European Express : Shipments currently in the network may face a 24-hour delay vs. quoted transit times.

As a contingency measure, we are routing the majority of TNT Express shipments via the road for the remainder of the week.

FedEx Express parcel shipments to, from and within Europe may be delayed by 24 hours. FedEx International Priority Freight shipments may experience delays longer that 24 hours vs. quoted transit times.

Non-conveyable shipments may experience longer delays versus documents, parcels and conveyable shipments, to, from and within Europe.

Precautionary measures to maintain the integrity of temperature-sensitive shipments such as those from clinical trial/healthcare customers have also been implemented.

UPS has temporarily suspended its services to East China (Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang).

We apologize for any inconvenience caused and would like to thank you for your understanding.
