What happens if I am importing an item from outside of the EU?

Items imported from outside of the European Union will have to be cleared by customs and may be subject to Duty and VAT charges. If you are required to pay any Duty or VAT then you will be contacted by your chosen shipper and asked to complete an import mandate stating how you would like to pay the Duty and VAT. You can choose to pay this by bank transfer, or by paying in cash to the driver on delivery of the goods.

Incomplete or incorrectly filled out customs documentation will cause delays in the shipment of your parcel and in certain circumstances your parcel may be returned to sender. In such instances additional fees will be incurred.

Customs rules and regulations can change quickly, if you have any questions then do not hesitate to contact our customer services team.
